About

I struggled at college, never really fit in throughout my whole life and have always just tried my best at everything I do! I spent 5 years outside of education doing a huge range of things, only to end up on the Foundation Year in Healthcare in September 2020, post Covid pandemic, which changed my life.

I am from the almighty Black Country and have a huge passion for community empowerment. Whilst at Uni I did some healthcare and physio-assistant work on Respiratory and Trauma and Orthopaedic wards. I've had a mixture of placement experiences across inpatients, outpatient, schools and care homes.

Now I work in a mxiture of healthcare and educational settings. I love psychology and understanding the complexity of humans, floating on a big rock in space! I have terrible music taste, enjoying exercising and delusionally optimistic!

I have spent my whole life learning, seeing people get disenfranchised with the system and watching our communities crumble. Sometimes in life you have to stand up for what you believe in and Health Valued is exactly that - created from all my life experiences, looking to empower the community, one community at a time, with care, kindness and resilience!

The Vision:

To improve the health education, awareness and access to services across communities...one community at a time!
